Resource Center
Where do you go when you don’t know where to go for help? Or if you don’t know what or whom you need for help? Whether you’re struggling yourself or you have a loved one who is struggling with life issues including addiction, we can help you with assessing your circumstances and getting directed to the people, programs, and facilities you may need.
By the time people are ready to seek help, emotions and relationships in the family are often at a breaking point. In highly charged situations, it can be very difficult to sift through the dizzying array of services and professionals, to know whom to trust.
With a single call to the Resource center, people in need can talk to someone who knows the right questions to ask and can begin to assess their situation, creating a list of proven and relevant services, including:
- counselors and therapists
- spiritual direction
- medical/legal professionals
- interventionists
- detox facilities
- residential or outpatient treatment
- sober living/transitions homes
- certified drug and alcohol counselors
- 12 Step groups and sponsors
- life skills and job placement services
- shelters and food banks
In difficult cases, callers can also talk to a licensed clinician who can perform a more detailed evaluation and make further recommendations.
