Ask: Conversation with Pastor Dave Brisbin
At a time when traditional Christianity is being intensely questioned or abandoned altogether, when religious strife in the world is on the rise, and issues surrounding the Bible, church practice, and social issues we face in our society are in some cases tearing us apart, how should we proceed as followers of Jesus? First century followers of Jesus had to define themselves and their practice of faith in light of the world around them, and each generation since has had to do the same.
It’s essential for each of us to ask the central questions about our faith, life, relationship, church in order to be better followers of a timeless message applied to our particular time and space. Pastor Dave’s personal journey and study of Jesus’ message from a Hebrew point of view has shaped the practice of faith at theeffect, but is also part of a growing mainstream of Christian thought.
Come join us Friday evening, April 28th starting at 7PM for a conversation, an interactive interview, a chance to ask the hard questions and hear concepts and points of view that may not give all the answers, but can point in new directions and toward better questions.
